Every instrument gives this decaying cognitive feel while the low bass with the distortion, reverb, and octave slurs and jumps create this slight paranoia and hysteria feel to the song; like going down the drain of life.

I'll have to agree with darkside7000, and yourself, apparently. Very heterogeneous chorus - too thick, even. At the 2:00 mark the digital recording is noticably having difficulty playing all instruments at once. Still, this is a great song. Something about it is very... terrain. Though it has a slightly retro vibe, or perhaps steampunk.
