A step backwards

Remember when I said your last song was the best one you made? It still is. The song takes too long to get going, there is no clear melody, parts come and go sporadicly, and then it has an abrupt ending. It sounds like a Frankenstein's monster of a song, no real overarching theme, all adjoined by a over used cymbal crash thing. It has more depth, but it sounds like less, pardon the cliche, heart was put into it. I /know/ you can do better.
