First, a technical note. I usually use higher quality sounds, but my computer has been acting up. These sounds don't sound bad at all though, so here it is.
--------------------
A week ago, my fifteen year old dog Mandi had to be taken to the emergency vet. She was running into everything, wouldn't eat or drink, and was panting like crazy. When she was taken to the vet, I was at home, and on the verge of tears for hours. The mere thought of loosing someone I had known for basically my entire life, I couldn't handle it for long.

And that's where this piece came from.

I wrote this piece for Mandi. I had sat down at my piano and wrote the piano version of this piece. I then added in all of the other instruments, and this is what I wrote. And the title, it came easy. Mandi could only be described in one word: faithful.
--------------------
And for those wondering, my dog is still alive. The vet told us that she suffered a rare case of going blind overnight. Now that it's been a week, she walks around the house almost as if nothing happened. At first, she was walking against walls and people's legs to help get around, but now she just does her thing like she did before. It has my family a bit confused, it almost seems as if she can see, but she still strays slightly off course and runs into something occasionally. We think that she has just gotten over the anxiety of suddenly losing her sight and remembers where everything is placed.

I'm so thankful that she's still a part of my life.

<PS>
--------------------
Update: So my dog is no longer blind. Not sure how that happened, but apparantly she had only temporary blindness. She's doing well and bring much love and joy in my family's life. :)

In a word, indescribable.

God, you have cosmic musical powers I don't even know of.

After all, music says the unspeakable.
You are terribly underrated in the 1-5 category. You deserve more fame. 10.

PenguinSam responds:

Cosmic musical powers? That right there is the most original completement I think I have ever gotten. And yes, music does speak the unspeakable. :)

Thank you

PenguinSam responds:

Yeah, that tends to happen to me. People get to focused on the begining of songs here on newgrounds. For those, like you, who actually listen to the whole thing, there's the reward, if you wish to call it that, of hearing how my music develops. That goes especially with this piece, as it just continues to build until the ending starts.

I'm glad that you like this piece! It's one of my favorites! I just wished the high quality sounds would export the entire song, not just half or none of it, when the balance is correct. Oh well.

Thank you for the support!
