I incorporate a lot of piano into my music. That's probably because it's my absolute favorite instrument, and nothing is quite like it. That being said, although this is primarily a piano piece at its core, there is so much more to it than that. It's based upon the nature of dreams--at times beautiful and serene, and at other times dramatic and unpredictable.

A dream within a dream.

wow

this is just one of those holy sh$t pieces, simply wonderful
the wide variety of beats in this can be compared to the wide variety of things you see in a dream... hence the name i suppose

ChronoNomad responds:

I'm rather partial to Dreamscape, myself. I really managed to pull off a very ephemeral, dreamlike atmosphere somehow. It's just one of those pieces of music that, once it was finished, I sat back and simply listened a few times, thinking 'Did I really just make this?'

Inspiration is a force far beyond human comprehension. The best thing to do is not question it; just go with the flow and see where it takes you. Forcing the music just never sounds as good for some reason.

Excellent!

This is the kind of music I like. Soothing, but still with that energetic kick in the background.
The piano is my favorite instrument as well. Great work.

ChronoNomad responds:

Good to know! I'm happy to hear that you appreciate this one so much. It has always had a special place in my repertoire.

Very well done

I've been into dreaming and dreams for a while now, recording them, etc. I am very impressed with your musical vision of what a dream may sound like. Good job!

Thank you, and I'm glad that you enjoyed it! I always appreciate hearing the opinions of my listeners. I have a short antithesis piece that I should add to my repertoire here sometime soon that's appropriately titled "Nightmare".
