A symphonic layering made to the track "Darkness In Me" by my friends band Closer.

Made as a tribute to an incredible band and a great bunch of guys.

Vocals: Andreas Melberg
Lead Guitars: Per Bergquist
Rythm Guitars: Jonas Skoog
Bass Guitars: Björn Ahlqvist
Drums & Percussion: Tobias Persson

and Symphonics and Orchestrals added by me.

Original track: tch?v=H4YB1PVNNdw

Edit: Fixed the bass guitar credit.

Edit 2: Hey, weekly #1. Thanks alot, computer overmind.

Final Edit: Just wanted to squeeze in the Closer myspace and facebook pages for y'all even though they're inactive at this time. Credits are credits though ;D /10367416719

Not bad at all

Your vocalist isn't a bad screamer, but his style just doesn't seem to go so well with the style of the instrumental music. That, and the vocal layer is too quiet. I pretty much hear everything else over him.

That being said, this song pretty much rocks. Great work!

Was good... Until

I too liked it until they started to scream. We all know people with that style are just emo's getting in on the metal.

I really like what you did with the synth, it definitely adds another layer of depth to this already great track. Nice work!

More like "Best of the Month".

This basically sounded like a more symphonic/orchestral version of a recent Arch Enemy song with so-so vocals.
This totally kicked ass, dude(s).

Keep it up!

Hope to hear more. And, maybe when I get my skills up, might get to work with each other down the road.
