It's been ages since i've uploaded here, and that's because i've been terribly busy; mostly on hosting the NGADM, which some of you may have heard about. Other than that, i've also had a terrible Writer's Block if that's what it's called in Music.

Still, those times are hopefully over, and as such, i have chosen to celebrate by uploading a WIP to NG, so here it is. It's called Flight, on account of my inspiration finally taking off again. Hope you like it and any reviews are appreciated to help me in making the full version of this.

The Software used for making this is FL Studio 9 XXL Producer's Edition, as well as several VSTs, mainly East West Symphonic Orchestra, East West Stormdrum and Cinematic Strings Monster Staccatos, all of which are incredibly useful for this type of music.

Uplifting

Very nice tune you have here. It has that slowly uplifting feel that reminds me slightly of Vangelis' work, which I believe can only be a good thing as far as songs like this go. The name you picked also works very well with the style, and I can easily see this song used in a scene of first flight of any sort.

The sounds you used fit the powerful rythm and mood of the song perfectly - the short strings along with the piano are the main driving force behind the feeling of this song, and the drums only added to that powerful build-up.

In my view, it has the right amount of epicness and that "mighty" feel to enable it to stand as is, without any additions. As for expanding on the song, I'd suggest a soft synth string intro that would blend into the beginning of the current version to accentuate the crescendo of the song that you've accomplished so far.

Very nice piece of work, can't wait to see what the final version will look like!

Soothing

This is such a blissful and classic peace. It reminds me a bit of Mylo and Otis the movie. Not sure if you have seen it. Kind of reminds me of the scene where they are getting acquainted before their crazy life journey starts. The drums are nice to hear though, really like them. The piano is also very soft feeling, nice job there.

The overall feel kind of calms you down a lot. Very nice job on this piece of classical music.

Dude...

I've been looking for a new CPU cooler online for the past half hour and I totally spaced off the fact that this loop has been playing THE ENTIRE TIME.

Wow, lol. I'm surprised I could handle it for that long. It's actually pretty calming and uplifting. Tis the sound of progress ;)

Other than extending this, I don't really have any criticism for you. It sounds great, just make it a lot longer.

Keep up the amazing work.
