Reminds me a bit of the opening theme for 'Desert Punk'.
Here's a short funk song. Actually it's a short demo for my band. But I figured I might get some responces here! So please tell me what you think!

I always respect a man who can use trumpets...

I broke into dance and I ruined my living room.
Best I've heard in a long time
It's a really good composition, true to what funk is. The guitar was just grand with the muting and the trumpets were spot-on. If I may make some suggestions for the drums though, I feel like the hats (or cymbals, I can't really tell) should be doubled when everything else shuts down (at 00:35 for example) just to give it that extra kick. Also, I felt like the transition to the piano was too harsh, and although the actual piano riff fits in nicely, the tempo was completely thrown off (slowed down) in a very abrupt manner. Nonetheless, since this is only a demo, I'm sure these minor details are not a worry. All in all, this is great work. I wish your band the best.
Thanks for your excessive review! I really apreciate this kind of reviews with suggestions! The thing is with this demo is that I played everything myself with Reason 5. We'll go to the studio somewhere in June. The slow piano part, I guess you're right about the transition. We're going to look into that! Thanks again!
