Dance of the Sheiks-2005 score

Share

Author Comments

This is another track I did years ago back in 2005, so it's rather old. It was made in an Arabian/ pseudo Hip Hop type way. I believe at that time I was just experimenting with different score ideas and I just came out for what ever reason with some Arabian style tracks lol. Uses the common Arabian lick with some variances.

There's more that will be posted. This is one of my favorites despite it's flaws :)

nice arabian feel

It does feel authentic arabian. Reminds me of Prince of Persia. Only @ the beginning, I think if some of the notes were held out longer, it's sound more real. Really does feel real. I can imagine a scene with people dancing for sheiks. Ending is dragged out a bit long though. Don't think you needed to drag it out that long.

epic

I love this!
Where can I get the percussion samples!?
Everything sounds pretty awesome, keep up the good work!
If I made flash, I'd probably have to use this somewhere.

Thanks for the kind comment!
Not sure where I actually got these. I know the sitar was a keyboard sample, but the drums, I believe were from an old library I used to have. Not sure which though.

If you're looking for those kind of samples though, Check out EastWest RA and Gypsy.
