what a song should be...

* verses AND chorus
* straightforward, relateable subject matter
* intelligible singing/rapping
* distinct hooks that complement one another
* syncopated rhythms

it's not at all to my usual tastes, but this song is a clinic in simple and catchy music. Easy to imagine this as top twenty crossover chart hit, IF it had just a tiny little more: a break, a solo, a clear ending and beginning. So that's why you don't get a ten! Keep going, you're a legend in the making.
