Some theme music I wrote for a psychic boss battle from Paranoia's 'Heart of Ice' platform adventure!

You can check out the game here (I must admit, I wasn't able to defeat the psychic boss myself, but give it a go!)

This is one of the best things I've heard on the audio portal.

Two thumbs up, good sir!

Seems a bit too techno to be classified as classical, but that doesn't make this any less awesome. It reminds me of one of the themes from Sherlock Holmes (2008)...

JeffHeim responds:

Thanks superchesepants,

I do agree with you in that it's not classical at all (after all, classical music is technically music written between 1750 and 1820ish). It seems that there should be more subcategories for classical here on NG. While the percussion sounds industrial and techno-oriented, the instrumentation is orchestral which is why I put this in the classical section (I think "contemporary" would have been a better match).

I thought Hans Zimmer's soundtrack to Sherlock Holmes was brilliant- much different than most of his other film scores which surprised me when I saw it for the first time.

Thanks again for the comments!

Vaguely unsettling - in other words, great.

I don't blame you for not being able to beat Ishmael - he's hard as hell. And given the mindfuckery he throws your way, this fits him perfectly.
