Good fun campfire blues
Beaut
Here come the badgers,
What shall we do?
These are the friendlies,
In suits wearing blue.
Tea is their fondest,
We'll make them a cup,
One or two sugars?
They sit down to sup.
Albeit uninvited,
Their presence is just,
For badgers they can do,
As badgers they must.
Talking and laughing,
Not hard to see why,
Knocking their heads back,
Bottoms up high.
T'was not hot water,
went into their cups,
But Russian proud vodka,
That gave them hiccups.
They stayed for an hour,
Then two became three,
But badgers have homes,
And misses to see.
So at last they got up,
And said their goodbyes,
Not totally sober,
But still very wise.
