I did a l4d2 Speed run with this
A song I made for a school zombie themed club that me and my friends started. it turned out much better than i thought it would. I personally like how the song progresses like a story with the SFX. And if it confuses anyone these are what the SFX are supposed to imply.
Moans-zombies (the start of the infection)
screeching and crash- car crash (panic)
Zoom sounds- Camera (reconnaissance)
Next group of SFX- guy going into a building lighting a match and clearing it (fighting back)
Metal ting and explosion- grenade (peak of resistance)
Comments appreciated. It helps me improve.
Enjoy m(_ _)m
note- was originally on a friends account on newgrounds before I made my own. (just got internet recently)

Interesting
The fact that you had table of conents is definitely a plus. Your beginning was somewhat bland, instantly seems as if it's going to be another chopped up metal song. The rest that followed was a great set-up for the later introductions to more pieces of the music/story. The section that holds the SFX guys was, as said below me, a great build on each other, but it needs something at the sudden break-off point at 2:14. Come in heavier, harder and louder with more abrasive guitar chords. Having said that, have it fade out to the original music that holds the main spot within a few seconds to save the feel around the after effects of being surprised. Maybe that's what you wanted to make us experience at that point, but I just wasn't getting it. It felt weak. I wanted to feel what they were feeling. It was a great peice, and I hope to hear the new/modified version of this in the future! Keep up the good work.
I get where your coming from and there are other improvements i also want to make. but the ORG file for the song was on my old laptop which exploded (yes it happens look it up). And I'm having a trouble finding time to go back and trying to remake it.
Really Cool
The idea is great and the execution is excellent. I especially like the zoom SFX and how it builds on the beat. The only improvement I can think of is maybe slipping some ambient backgrounds below the song.
I had the same thought. and the SFX going with the music made the song flow that much more. Right now I'm trying to find a band to do a live recording of this song.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
