Three instruments that don't typically go together.. The Hawaiian ukulele, the Indian flute, and the Irish bodhrán.

I listen this 5 times in a row, awesome, the flute, the sensible but amazing power of the bodhrán, and one of my favorite instruments the ukelele, makes me laid on my back and levitate with the sound. As i said awesome.

I really love this! I hope you don't mind me using it in my film; you deserve the exposure! It really lifts the scene I mean to put it in :) I can't help listening to it, even when I'm not working on the project!
I have sent you a message describing it fully :)

All the best!

quite epic

the mix of instruments, and the feelings and and the archetypes associated with them, along with general popular imagery, makes me want to go on an epic journey across continents in search for some universal truth. this truth will set mankind on a better path, one that will help us all reach our collective potential, and my epic quest that led to it will be remembered and retold in a music video for this song, with lots of helicopter shots of me, alone in vast wilderness landscapes, enduring the hardships that will one day set man free.

MikeTaylor responds:

If you'd like to make that music video, by all means :) Thanks. I will be making more like this in the future.

very beatifull. smooth rythm.

Well I came acros this song looking for relaxing nature music. Ofcourse it fits the search perfectly. I am not familiar with instruments but what I can hear is that they are well being put together in this song. keep em coming!

MikeTaylor responds:

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I will most likely make more like this in the future.

A Pent Flute! And I thought I was the only one.

This is really good sounding man. The Bodhran is well played, as is the uke. My only beef is that the flute has more delay than I would like, but that's my taste. You should do more of these, and really showcase the flute. I've been playing for maybe 2 years, and I'm just now starting to get into grace notes and such. Check out Travis Terry. He's one of the best flute players I've ever listened to. Might give you some ideas.

MikeTaylor responds:

Thanks for the advice, I only just dabbled with the flute I bought on a whim, I absolutely love the sound but haven't quite dedicated enough time to learning the ins and outs of it. I plan on recording some songs for a podcast series that will showcase more flute, and I'll play with the delay a little more. Thanks for the review!
