this thing started off just as a riff to keep me from boredom, but after a while I started liking it so I finished it and uploaded it.. there's no rhythm at the beginning cause I didn't use a metronome and it might be a little out of tune cause I didn't use my tuner.. I had no idea I was gonna record it :) I tried to add some vocals for like 1 second, my first time, but I can't shout here which I need to.. made in Audacity, using my good old Ibanez guitar.. enjoy..

and every August I'm reminded about how great of a song this is.
it's one of my contact's ringtones on my phone.
this song has always been great. it really is emotional, even if it's a loop, and even if it's only ninety minutes long.
Really? Wow man I'm really happy to hear that.. Well I didn't really write how I made this song, I was feeling very down, one of those depressive days and it was raining outside so I thought that I could at least record something just to feel "good".. maybe I somehow put the emotions into it haha..

I've listened to this like 5 times already while reading, it is awesome.
I especially liked the vocal bit for that second, it really added to the song. Wouldn't go too far with the vocals if i were to complete this, I like the guitars singularity in this so don't ruin it with too many instruments especially ones that overpower (drums/percussion) . Could probably do with a synth to make a more EPIC atmosphere.
If not, make it longer with that awesome melody!
This is what I get for uploading unfinished riffs that just pop out of the blue and are recorded in like half and hour :). Well if I get to making this one longer I'll keep in mind some of the stuff you wrote here. I agree with keeping the guitars the main melody and not adding too much of anything, but I would like to play with the vocals a bit. Thanks for the review.
