An honest attempt

What kind of electronic music do you listen to? I find that adopting some elements of your favorite artists' styles can really help your compositions. When I started to mess around with composing trance, my stuff sounded TERRIBLE, and nothing like trance. But the more I listened to different types of trance and artists, the better I became. That is my recommendation.
