Love the midrange boost for the song in most of it, the only thing that gets me a little is that seems to get scratchy/screechy a few times throught the song (I've had the same issues with distortion and filtering at the same time with some of my synths). Some parts are a little "blurred together" like it seems like one long distortion sound into the next part.
But aside from that, this song is pretty damn good! You have this ability to make automation seem as easy as breathing, I swear to god :P
This gets a 9 from me! keep up the work!
btw, you have AIM? we could do a co-op song sometime or I could let you know about a big Community Service style co-op where several people make one long song and let u in on it :)

Sweet song. The fade in and fade out synth was very cool effect on the old song. Remixes of famous songs are the way to go on NG.... I have a feeling that we have not seen the last of you and remixing. If remixes were like this, then everyone would be great... good job Ballistix.

"The bass was pretty cool."

...but just a little screechy. Did you record the original bass with a microphone and then envelope a slayer onto them? I have no idea how you got the bass to do that filtery thing. It sounds really neat. It has way too much high end, the song sounds tinny and cluttered. The best part of it was how you got the bass waveform to sound like the original song. I like where you are going with FL, but I still think you need to have your songs go through several stages before you submit them.

I liked it a little. I'm still confused about that bass, so talk to me about it.
