Honestly, I blame James Horner's work in Avatar for his style kinda rubbing off on me in this piece.
This piece is not for any production; it is simply a work of music that I spontaneously felt the need to do.
Sunsets have a sentimental value to me. When the sun sets, it's like the curtain closes on the day - the day is over and gone. It will never be seen again. The next day will come, but the day past is gone forever. And in that day past, did you do something meaningful in it to make it matter? Days will continue to come and go, but why not make every moment matter if they will be gone forever? It's not like there's a neverending supply of moments, though it may seem so now. As you age and time passes, you begin to see how there were certain times in your life where you missed moments that will never come again.
I made this piece thinking about my own life, what it has amounted to, and what it will hopefully amount to. Losing a loved one can make you contemplate these things. So, in essence, this piece is a reflection of one's life as if that life, like the day, is coming to a close. When you are about to leave this world, as the curtain closes one last time, will you feel as though you've made every moment count?
What happens to your concencousness when you die... does it all go black, does your mind go to something else...
The existance of ghosts proves that you dont just cease to exist.
But what happens to your soul and consensious mind when your physical body dies?
Anyone wana have a good (positive) rant with me about this kind of thing?
And on to the music.

This song definately sounds like one of the more tranquil forests, peacefully just calling you to come out. And the meaning behind the song... it's sad, but we all know it's true.
Breathtaking
The instruments come together so beautifully. The tone it sets is exactly what you intended for it; it sounds almost finalizing, and yet, at the same time, contemplating. It's serene beauty shows absolute brilliance. I find myself coming to listen to this whenever I need to think and my mind clears up instantly. Personally I feel this is an amazing melody. It's beauty is absolutely unparalleled.
