great track
I can see why this has been well-received! I like the way you use only two chords. Rather than limit you, it frees this music to change really effectively through different instrumentation and tempos.
This is my theme for a certain character. He is a good guy, and he is the son of the "Wind God."
It starts out really slow and ominous, representing his birth and his purpose. He is sad, he has entered a world of pain and suffering. About halfway through the song, his heroic theme is played in its full stringy glory. The song then speeds up, it sounds like he is "flying," then at the end he slowly comes back down to the ground.
The entire song is based off of two chords, listen and you'll know what I'm talking about.
This song took me a long time, so please listen to it before rating it. I've had this theme in my head for years, but this is by far its best reincarnation, so I decided to post it on Newgrounds.
The exact "storyline" is unimportant, just tell me what you think of the song! If you liked it, take a listen at some of my other songs.
EDIT: This song has been a large success on my part. Keep rating it up you guys! Thank you so much. Also, I've just written a thematic companion to this song, "The Wind God's Lament." Check that out if you enjoyed this!

Yes, i found tons of ways to manipulate that one very simple chord progression (and some parts use three, but yeah.) Thanks a ton!
Wow!
I saw your new one on the audio portal while looking for a friends song and I'm very glad that I decided to listen to your new one because the title was intriguing. And then of course I had to listen to this one to get the full affect.
And it was amazing! I love music like this and I absolutely loved it! After reading your description, I could totally imagine it all! You have quite a talent!
I don't usually write reviews for songs...
...but this was breathtaking. This goes above and beyond what is hear in movies! This really provokes my imagination. Listening to this, I picture your character as one who grows up as the opposite of what society demands of him, a saint when they want a soldier, and is banished. When the song picks up, I can picture a sudden, massacre-like invasion, and him swooping down to save the innocent people being attacked. A couple of other stories pop into my head from this piece, too.
I have been inspired by this masterpiece!

Your review made my day. Thank you so much!
I...I...
At 1:40 this song stole my breath. Amazing work good sir!
.....Amazing.......
I am speechless....I can't think of an accurate way to compliment this.....This feels right out of a movie. With it's sweeping scope, it leads one through the world of the mind. Through peaceful valleys seen from far above. A traveler far from home, continuing onward, aided by the hope embedded in this song......It has such a mystical aura about it. It feels like the notes are dancing at times.
By the way, that was an awesome choice to include the bell, it adds a certain air to the song that reminds one of peaceful dreams. As to this song being for one character, I don't know, this song could define a whole scene, even a whole movie, end credits, a flight of fancy. I agree with XshadowcasterX on some of his previous review, especially about the feel of the song. The choice of instruments is amazing. I don't see why this isn't in a movie yet....
Very well done.
Thanks a ton for reviewing, yeah It isn't just one character, but the ideas and emotions he experiences.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
