You are god.
truth.
Meh, maybe it isnt super mario characteristic but you just put down some pretty awesome sounds.
Mario at the riverside
Some "Mario" and some "Riverside" by Sydney Samson.
The lead sound is a distorted, organ like sound created with Sylenth1. Not trying to emulate the original riverside sound this remix is kinda dancy but imo still house category worthy.

Glad you like it, thanks!
LOL
As much as I'm hating the original, since I've heard it waaaaaaaaaay too many times (yes I'm from the Netherlands too :P), I really enjoyed this one.
Haven't got that much to add actually so erm.. keep up the good work ;)
Thanks man! you keep up the good work too!
I'm not feelin it
Aside from the mario sounds, like the coin jumping and his voice, you woudln't know it was a mario refrence, until around 2:00
Also, it doesn't really sound like a riverside, it sounds more like a city scape or a carnival at night or something.
Not really feelin this song, sorry bro.
Ouch! if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it, it's your opinion and I respect that.
But I have to set a couple things straight.
First: This is not a mario remix, my intention was to use mario elements (most notably Super Mario Bros. 1) and remix the song Riverside with "some" of them. (shell, jump, overworld song elements, game over song elements, voice mario64)
Think mashup.
Second: Riverside is a song by Sidney Samson, a dutch "dirty" house producer. He used a sample from the movie Juice where actor Tupac Shakur says "Riverside, motherf$%*er" before he executes his first victim. So the title is based on that. I used this sample too but pitch-stretched it.
Guess I'm a little surprised you gave this a 3 based on those arguments. Maybe listen to the original, it's on youtube.
Thanks anyway
