i remade it over and over and over countless times, it's by far the most-times-refurbished piece i made to date, and i will continue to do it over and over untill you, and i are satisfied. so ? what do you think ?

Hits the spot

What a strange and unique song, i must say. The style and tone is both haunting and charming at the same time. In my mind i saw a cross between a carnival with a sense of magic and mystery about it and the streets of Paris on a dreary, rainy day. Again, great imagery in your song.

This was a shorter song than i would have expected, but it worked well in that length of time. If it was longer i might have gotten tired of the repeating chord progression; any shorter and i would feel that it was incomplete. If you were to make this any longer, i would suggest to play around with an alternate chord progression to act as the bridge of the song. But i like it the way it is at this length. (have you considered ending with a different chord?)

If there is any criticism i have, its that now you have created this great song, you need to find someone who actually plays the accordion and record them instead of using the horrendously fake synthesized accordion. Your song is written, now it needs a soul.

I know what you mean when you say that you have put everything about you into your song. The music you make will most always have meaning behind it-a story or image or emotion, but in any case, your music should always reflect a part of you. I would say the main reason i like your songs so much is that they seem so sincere and deep. I would be severely disappointed if you started producing music that was as artificial and soulless as most things i hear on NG most days.

Again, fantastic job. Never stop creating.

Very good, but not quite satisfying.

I don't know if I've reviewed a previous version of this, as I can't recall that I have, so this will be a completely fresh view on it.

The intro is very soft and gentle. The echo accompanying it only adds to the effect. You can almost lose yourself in the sound of gentle, echoing, piano rain. I was caught by surprise when it abruptly shifted at 0:31. The transition is good, but the synth was completely not what I was expecting - in a good way. I abruptly smiled as the song went on, the refined sounding synth and piano made a good match, but the lingering echo seemed to not fit properly, replaying the sound of the piano more than the synth and throwing the harmony a little. Regardless, the song flowed strong. The ending was a little abrupt, but fit the song quite well.

I'd suggest you trim the echo after 0:31. It gives a feeling of distance or hollowness that counteracts the song after that point. Other than that, this sounds quite nice. My favorite part is 0:55 to 1:09, personally. There's something about those triple piano notes that emphasize the feel of the song so well in that section.

Personally, this song is great, but I'm not fully satisfied! Aside from the echo, I feel that the ending could be made a bit less brash. Perhaps you can hold the strong, final note and let it fade off instead of relying on the faint echo to trail it off. I'm not positive, myself.

Regardless, an excellent piece. I'm going to give it a 9/10, as I said I wasn't fully satisfied. Hopefully my requests won't require too much effort.

hamzawy responds:

I KNEW IT !! the continuation of the echo thingy is NOT so great, thank you for helping me decide that....and for the ending, well, maybe i've over done it....well, i personally like it, but your suggestion is-for me-more relaxing and let your feeling sort of...goes into the infinite...and a spirit fading away....i like that, maybe i'll look into that part one more time. i like that you noticed(ofcourse u did!)the synth that was way off, yet mixes nicely....and the three notes....that was the beggining. you don't know how much you're helping me, there are no words. thank you, and i really hope i continue to make you hear my songs, your opinion really matters to me. take care sir.

i am fully satisfied

you have so many good songs

hamzawy responds:

this is the second time i'm honored by your opinion. i'm very happy that you liked this piece, it is very dear to me, it was one of my first pieces, it had a special ring to it from the start, and maybe it's not even finished yet...even i don't know, it gets bigger, smarter, talented, this piece is like a dear person to me. i love it, and i'm happy that you do too. thank you so much.
