This is probably one of my least sporadic songs that i've made recently. I'm in a very holiday esc. mood.

As some of you may be starting to notice(Those of you who listen) the bass sound, is rather familiar, well that's because I think i want that to be a signature bass sound for me.

All work done in FL Studio 9 Demo.

Let me now what you think, and whether it paints a picture in your head.

Oh and i'll be working on whatever i can with this one. =3

Painting a picture

I have a very visual brain, so I'm glad you asked.

I definitely get the sense of a snowy pine forest at night (could be the title influencing me) and it starts out with a grim-looking fellow surveying the place before calling in an army of chainsaw-tanks to rip it down, a little after that grinding bass sound comes in.

Not sure if that's what you were going for, but great loop anyway - very visually inspiring indeed!

Kirbyfemur responds:

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. Thanks for the review, and yeah sorry for the influencing of the title lol. But it can be whatever you make of it. =3

right on

Sounds pretty good, the only turn off were the drums, not the drum beat itself, just the way they sounded. otherwise really dig the tune

5/5

Kirbyfemur responds:

Eh, i'm having to deal with the Demo version of Fl studio, and I didn't do to much tweaking to the drum sounds. I hate the Hit-hat sounds Fl gives you, they're awful lol

But alas, my main problem still seems to be the instrument sounds. Thank you for the review. =3

Very nice.

I really like this half-creepy feel in the music. And i also really like those sounds you've used, helps alot with the dark winter-like feel. Good job in doing this. :)

Kirbyfemur responds:

Haha thanks!

It might help that i somehow end up writing most of my songs in some form of a minor key.

They just are much more pleasant to my ears, and provide much more deversity in the kind of key's that there are.
I'm glad you liked it=3
