I love Deep Purple
Wonderful. To me, the guitar was a little etchy, but great anyway.
Yesterday I busted out my strat and I fooled around for awhile, then recorded this using Garage Band. I know some parts aren't completely smooth, but keep In mind, I don't use sheet music, I don't even know what cord is which. I just kinda taught myself. I acknowledge that the original version is by The Leaves... but the best rendition of it was by Jimi Hendrix. And yeah I know the audio portal isn't really meant for covers of songs.... but whatever.

Thanks man! Yeah... the guitar was a teeny bit scratchy... but oh well!
hmm.. no...
ita nice but could be better... the efect of the guitar is crapy, the solo too and sometimes you lost the time
eh... Yeah. I getcha.
Well,
When I saw Hey Joe-funkified I kind of thought it would be bad, but the middle sounded good. It could probably be better with a singer who sounded like Hendrix(The Prince of Rythym and one of my all time favorites, along with the Beatles)
Yeah, vocals would sure rock. Too bad I sound like absolute utter shit. And i agree they dont make stars like Hendrix anymore.
Pretty Good
You do a good job on this song, in some aspects, it's pretty hard to cover considering it's such a classic, but it's also such a sweet jam. If you tightened up your guitar just a little bit, and turned down the wah a good amount then this could be really good.
Thanks man. I know, yeah I should've put a bit more effort into this baby. I was bored one day and decided to jam. Guess i'll try again next time.
this needs drums!
Did you make it with FL Studio?
If yes, this needs drums! (it´s great but...IT NEEDS DRUMS!)
if you tell me the speed of the song, I would try to make drums for it. (I have EZ Drummer).
Nope. GarageBand. And if i have enough free time, I might collab sometime!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
