mmmm rooootbeeeeeer... =3
Second submission to Newgrounds! This is one of my favorites, so i decided to do a feeler demo
Sort of a rock, somewhat-guitar-oriented version.
I kept the bells and strings the way they were composed --to fill in the space, as, even though my guitars can take up a huge amount of headroom, the song seems very empty without it that way.
The drums have more of a 'feel' rock than a straight-16th, though id forgone the nice triplets and high-hat work from the original. Perhaps they'll be added at a later time. These, like the strings/bells, were done on FL Studio 8.
Leads are obviously two distorted guitars; for this version, twas' an modded RG through a modded DSL50, and silver mic. Very hard to play what i needed to without going into crazy solos. There are many scratch tracks of these awesome but unneeded misfires.
Played mostly as it was 'written' with articulation you just cant put on sheet music. Added are some harmonies, and an added track to add some meat/rhythm to one of the sections. That particular added part really gets down with the bass and drums, very fun to listen to with the lead channels off.
Bass is played by me, simply through a preamp.
Thanks for readin the novel, and
do enjoy, especially if you love the game as much as yours truly!

After I pick my jaw up off the floor...
This is a great mix of a great song! At the very beginning, I wasn't sure, because the guitar was a little low, but I kept listening, and WOW! At :40, I was sitting here just rocking out! The low guitar works at the beginning to really blow you away when the song kicks into gear! Just an overall great job. (:
YES! Such a humbling review!!
I love it; thanks so very much!!!
