EDIT: Uploaded a more prominent bass, did some better mixing, and made it two minutes longer!

This is a short-ish ambient track I made a couple days ago. I was experimenting with LFO's and made the pad, then came up with the inspiration for a song. It's more of a melodic drone of a song, because that's how I was feeling. Tired, lonely, waiting for someone to come along and cheer me up.

And hey, I think this is a better representation of my feelings than my Facebook status that day, which was simply ":(" Haha...

Anyway, let me know if you like this at all. I know it's repetitive, but I like it that way. >:)

P.S. - Fade-out ending for ReFreezed :P

Hmmm...

Quite quite repetitive I believe, but that's just me. Everyone makes their own things which are repetitive and all that wise crap that should be inserted here. (____)

Anywho. I like the overall melody, and I can't quite pinpoint what drums you used. If this is an FL project, that's why, but it could also be that there are over like 200 drum patches for Reason. Yeah, so which one is it?

The overall synth line is repetitive, yet the reverb on it makes it quite better.

Lol, you and reverb.

Anywho. I forgot to add this in my previous review, but I'm going to send you a pm. So look at that.

Ahhh... yes. Anyways... nice song good sir. The fade out ending totally fit it.

I made this in Reason, but I used two edited loops from a Drum'n'Bass refill. So... that's why you didn't recognize it. I generally like external sounds better, but w/e

Repetitiveness Shmepetitiveness.

Nice little ditty. It has a nice atmosphere to it.

Only thing i would do is maybe add some sine bass stabs because it feels like its not really coming of the ground. And you may want to look at the reverb put on the piano bit. You may want to up the "room size" for a bit. But then again thats my opinion. you should do as you see fit.

And forget about repetitiveness. I made a song ("I'm Done") which is a whopping ten minutes of repetitiveness and it doesn't seem to bother anyone. Let alone the Aphex Twin ambient tracks, which are practically the same from beginning to end, and people still call it brilliant.

Just keep making music and keep doing your own thing! :)

Yeah, I was thinking about at least a subbass to help the sound, so I'll make a sine and layer it in. As for the piano, I need to fix the loudness of the high notes anyway (the reverb's the problem) so when I fix that, I'll work on the "size."

I'll have to shoot you back a review on that song of yours. :) I'm a fan of repetitivity, but I've driven my family insane with it and I try to cut back. Most people I know have short attention spans. :P
