I worked on this for about nine months (on-and-off, of course) and it's the longest piece of music I've ever created. In fact, I had to cut about thirty seconds out of it - never had to do *that* before...
I went for a "movie score" approach with this one, so there are several different melodies in play, including a riff on the theme from the video game "Karnov". (Hence the title, "Red" Brigade.) It's easily the most complicated piece I've put together, and about as close as I'll get to creating an epic, orchestral theme with the programs I have.
