THE ACTUAL TITTILE IS "In the Hall of The Mountain King" for all of you who don't know that out there.

If you decide to review this please also include what you categorize this as, I wasn't quite sure.

I'm Gonna Be Honest.

I think this is slightly over rated.

Don't get me wrong, Its a great piece of work. But it seems to be a pile of layers on top of each other without too much structure throughout the entire song. That fact adds a bit of that Dance feel to it, But it seems over packed.

Secondly, Although the rest is too much, The first 40 seconds or so isn't enough. I wouldn't hold onto the hope of top 50 for too long man, In all honesty. This song definitely deserved some recognition. But I don't think its that great overall.

Put more structure into your future works and you'll have much better outcomes. You can obviously get good quality sound clips and so on. Now you just have to plan things out a little more before completing them.

Still a good piece.

Personally, I would agree with you. I saw this more as a lucky break rather than a coordinated plot for top pick. I didn't even work that hard on this, compared to some of my other works which I put in a lot of thought and skill, and they barely got 40 listens. Other thing is I prefer a review with the harsh truth, like your's, rather than an empty pat on the back (no offence to anyone who was going to just say great job or something).
Only thing is, I wasn't the one who made it #7, the audience did. What can I say? Its what the people want =).

Thank you for your very helpful advice!

Seems... Unfinished.

Also, Night on Bald Mountain is not the same song as Hall of the mountain king.

My only advice is-

Do your research before you give a song a title. Like you said, this is "In the Hall of the Mountain King". "A Night on Bald Mountain" is a completely different song by a completely different composer. Not bad, nonetheless.

Good.

its a good song, but it seems a bit like a song you'd find on a game like Kingdom Hearts (which was a good game, all of em), the beginning seemed a bit like a childish version of a "spooky" theme, not to mention, if you were to listen to this on headphones or something, you'd need to constantly change the volume level, because it gets REALLY quiet, and then relatively loud, compared to headphones at least. And, the song is pretty repetitive, the main beat stays the same with little to no modifications.

True dat. There were always some EQ problems with it, but as my firend used to say, "If your going to make a difference, make it obvious." Repetitiveness = Inexperience, at least in my case I think. I usually don't change things up on people mostly to not confuse them. Like I've said in a lot of other things, I always saw this as a lucky break more than anything else.

Thanx for the review,
