---UPDATES---
Right now (2:17 AM july 6th) the song is still in its original form. Hopefully It will be updated soon, but until then turn up your speakers and try not to cringe through 1:25 to 2:10~~~
I have fixed a several number of things that were bugging me on this. First of all i fixed the sound, so now its not so quiet like it used to be. I have replaced the fake MIDI sounding trumpets with Garritan Orchestra Bb trumpets. I still plan on redoing the entire section from 1:25 to 2:10 just because I dont like it that much but otherwise the song is as updated as it gets.

This is the first audio submission I've made (and the first song I've ever actually made) this took me about 5 hours to write. I used Finale 2009, and wrote all of this out [that means none of this had any factory pre-sets in it that other programs may offer] The song features full string orchestra, percussion, and Bb trumpets.

Day of scars

This is a sad day for the entire world. I am the Captain of one ship. we were headed for the western continent when we saw Flames in the distance. i could have sworn the sun had arisen from the west. the blaze was so bright i was nearly blinded. The air was no longer scented with salt but death and decay. the smell of burning people.

Who could have done such a thing. in all my days I never imagined such destruction. I have had my spell caster search the land for a living settlement but alas he said he could only see flames and boiling land. as far as we know the entire continent is burning.

Who is that in the distance? Its a man walking on the water, in his hand is a Sword. His robe wiping around him. as he draws closer i begin to see more. Its the guardian Yevithen! Thank the goddess perhaps we will live. Wait whats he doing?

Then ice erupted from the water surface cutting the ship in half. a block of ice fell onto my leg. Yevithen appeared simply appeared in front of me.

"Today, i begin to purge the world of all sentient life." then he left me. The half of the ship i was on then fell into the sea. With my crushed legs bi oculd not swim. So this is the end...

MainManLuke responds:

Haha love the description, thanks for the good rating and review!

Enjoyed

Move on. Leave it alone. Even with the instrument, it is good, test your mettle on something else, this will stand alone as a good piece of work. Thanks for the pleasure.

MainManLuke responds:

Yeah, i agree. I need to get some type of setup now though, i cant write all of this music anymore, it takes wayy too much work and i need a better program. Thanks for the rating roc.

I like!

Excepting at 1:25 where that instrument sounds a bit whiny, it's cool with a fitting ending.

MainManLuke responds:

Yeah I hate that section lol idk. Thanks.

What?!

No one voted this song and you got only 2 listens?! That's impossible.

This is a pretty nice composition... a bit quiet as you said, but very nice.

The only thing I don't like is that instrument that starts from 1:25. It's pretty fake sounding.

From 2:22- end was good.

4/5 and 9/10. You deserve some attention ^__^.

MainManLuke responds:

Yeah I'm Definitely thinking about redoing this song with a replacement for that instrument. Now that I'm aware of how to use Finale I know how to use the real instrument set. Thanks for the review! Ill have a few more songs up today/tomorrow if you want to hear them :D
