Due to a friend unintentionally sending me a virus which caused erratic behavior until restart I lost a little over 40% of the song. But it would take a WHILE to re-do, so I decided to make a single run of the song and upload it. It runs through the entire song twice, ending at the part where it would start to repeat.
This is a short remix of Gate's Laboratory from Megaman X6.

Some of this sounds like it was sound effects from X1.
Now, about the whole "End at X5" thing...It was because Megaman Zero was supposed to start about 100 years after that...also, Zero was originally supposed to be X in the very beginning...but he looked nothing like the classic, so they made him Zero and made the X we see today.
Also, X6, X7, X8 and Command Mission wouldn't exist if they hadn't went without Inafune's permission.

I recall reading in the Megaman Wiki on Zero that Megaman X6 was actually made without Inafune's permission. Did you know that? It's interesting, and would explain the whole "It was supposed to end at 5" thing.
