What's black, blue, and dead all over... You
My version of the very famous "Ave Maria", originally composed by Charles Gounod / J.S. Bach
Performed with my favorite instruments:
a mouse, keyboard and endless hours of editing. See my news post for details.
*update*
From Wikipedia:
"It consists of a melody improvised by the French Romantic composer Charles Gounod superimposed over the Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, from Book I of The Well-Tempered Clavier, written by J.S. Bach some 137 years earlier. Although published in instrumental versions and fitted to various texts during Gounod's lifetime, the claim that he never 'wrote' it appears to be literally true."
Enjoy
What's black, blue, and dead all over... You
very nice and smooth musical notes. Its the kind of music that would relax yourself in your most stressed moments or most difficult moments youre having and this makes you forget about all your problems.
Bach would be very proud if he were still alive :)
such a beautiful music
cool and this is the best music
Wow, I was amazed at how wonderfully graceful this song was. It's really cool that Krinkels put this as one of his favorite songs of all time. Even someone who makes cartoons with constant killing has a soft spot for great music. This may not have had much variety, but it didn't need it at all. It's been awhile since I've recognized a violin being played. It is just a wonderful soothing song.
I remember studying all the great classic composers in school. I don't remember this piece by Bach specifically, but it seems like something he would make. It really makes you appreciate how beautiful music can be. It's miraclous how much you can accomplish with just a mouse, keyboard, and editing. You really put your heart and soul into this thing. It's one of the best songs I've ever listened to.
many thanks.
