One of my biggest musical inspirations for my style of composing came from when I was playing Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 1 & 2 on my Game Boy Micro. It was a really great strategy RPG game with mechs, cannons and whatnot, but another thing that really made it enjoyable for me was the incredibly well-made soundtrack. I simply loved the soundtrack of both games: the base themes, the battle themes and the character themes most especially.

So now that I have my current tools for composing, I'm not limited to anything. It was about time I made a tribute song to one of the greatest inspirations in my entire life as a composer. I hope you enjoy my remix of Kyosuke Nanbu's theme, called "Trump Card Alteisen", based on his trademark mecha and its ultimate attack.

Pretty small edit made to the piano at the last part.

*sigh* Only now I notice I didn't put a direct download link here XD

If you're sure you can't describe it any other way, then I guess I should say thanks. ^^

Excellent work here man, really liked this one. Though I really liked how it sounded like a mix between a rock/metal song and a video game song, that made it sound very dynamic and unique, excellent job with that. The beat was good, very strong and clearly heard when played next to the melody. The melody sounded good as well, very loud and, like I said, sounded like a mix between a rock or metal song and a video game song, nice job with that. Excellent work here man, 5/5 from me, keep up the good work! :)

Thanks for the descriptive review, and the fav! Mixing video game and metal music is indeed one of my favorite things to do when it comes to composing, and it seems I've done that well here. XD

5th comment about those bangs XD Original. They were in the original. I paid tribute to the random bangs by adding them in even if they're random ^^;

Hey, you should know that I'm a newbie to this list; it's my first time reaching front page =)

4th time and counting that the extra bang at 0:19 (and at 1:26) is in fact part of the original XDD

Thanks for the vote, the download and the comments; hope you enjoy it!
