I've been trying to fix the sound of my orchestra for a few months now. Before it sounded tiney and at times empty or distant (which some listeners have said). So this is an example piece I made to give a first bash at the new ensemble template I'll use to compose with.

It's not perfect. But it's much better than what I've released before quality-wise. Just for a bit of fun! Enjoy!

This is breathtaking! Love everything about it!!! Perfect length as well!

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks, i think it's quite percussion dominant though, so a tone down could be better imo. Thanks though! Glad you liked it!

GREATNESS RIDES BEFORE YOU!

I pictured it like this:

A team of soldiers has landed in Vietnam. They run through the jungle and come to the rendezvous point. They stop, and set up a defensible position. A couple of them go up on a clear hill and see a huge army of NVA tanks and infantry coming from all sides. They go back to warn the others, and find that they already know. The other transports had seen the army, and come to the rendezvous point. They set up as much defense as possible, and wait for their arrival. The entire force came, guns blazing, and the Americans opened fire. Huge reinforcements were coming, but they would have to hold out for another half hour. A battle ensued, and our heroes were eventually overrun. The survivors were lined up against the trees. Before they were shot to death by a firing squad, Several gunships entered the scene and obliterated a few tanks. Distracted, the soldiers were able to grab guns and kill the entire firing squad. Tanks and artillery fire followed, and about 20,000 men stormed the jungle. The NVA were being killed faster than they could be replaced by men in the tunnels. A transport helicopter brought back the surviving Americans from the first drop-off. Eventually, the NVA was beaten back. The area was secure for the rest of the war, and the survivors received a Congressional Medal of Honor.

I hope you appreciate how much time it took to type this >:(

This is so awesome!

Each, single piece put here by you, is simply flawless! I would be delighted if we could use those for our off-movies. This is CINEMATIC QUALITY!

L O V E I T !!!

Breathtaking

I posted a review on Inferno for a Hero only moments ago and liked it so much i decided to look at your other songs, and must say that these two songs meld well! So well in fact, that i could easily see them being in a movie or game soundtrack! And i apologize for my asking for a choir in Inferno, as the choir i wanted is right here :) Keep Rockin' -Albinoghost Out-

Whoa

This song is just plain BRILLIANT!!
The places where this song could be used are almost endless.
Great work.
