Very minimalist. If you're an ambient fan, sit back, relax, and close your eyes.

"Amazing peice"

date: September 22, 2009

i'm normally not an ambient music-goer, but when i played pandemic, it truly enhanced the mood. the sounds have a very 'liquidy' feeling, and by that i mean, the emptyness feeling you get when listening to it. it fits well for a game or otherwise film that delivers a claustrophobic (i know i spelled that wrong) feeling that, for example, would fit at the end of the first resident evil movie, in the ending scene after the woman gets up off the operating table, and it shows the city in ruins. also, like the man (or woman) below me said, delivers an empty, hollow, 'sole survivor' sort of feeling that the metroid prime games have.

all in all, excelent peice. major props my man :D

Thanks a lot! I think the bleak nature of this one works very well with Pandemic.

"Clostrofobical!"

date: September 21, 2009

It's like reminding you of one of the Metroid Games. Don't take me wrong when I say that, but the Metroid games had the exact clostrofobical feeling that this song has. You will notice if you ever play any of the games.

"this song is really...."

5/5 and 10/10 man, I dont hear songs like these a lot, and it's really hard to make one. This is like a mysterious sadness you know, suspensful, yet at the same time has a hard beat to it. And just like in Pandemic, it's anomonous, unsuspecting, and fast paced.
It's really hard to explain, but it's a masterpiece all say

Author's Response:

Thanks a lot! And I actually wouldn't say this type of song is hard to make. I would say that it just doesn't come around very often. Sometimes things just line up right.

maybe you should combine ants, blue gel, rainy nights, and....frogs to make a new song!

"Well Done"

date: June 18, 2009

I found this through Pandemic, and I must admit, I found myself thinking of the soundtrack to Andromeda Strain... except AS was much more annoying, while this is soothing and lonely. I can easily see this being used in Sci-Fi flash or storytelling. Great job!

I love lonely tunes.... thanks for the review.
