And just a standard on the beat bass playing the root should sound lovely.
Make sure you get one that compliments the lovely feel this has already, so is not too strong or too weak. Keep it up mate!

It sounds pretty good!! it does need a decent bass though!! Maybe you could use a heavy synth... maybe a 8bit and use a 3 or 4 tone appegiator! I'm curious for the result!
