First, let me introduce the team etherealXaudio team:
CJ: BA Musician
Kibbles: Equally BA Musician
xD So maybe were not much of a "team" as a couple of guys just starting out. This is our first ever work and let me tell you, what you are listening to literally took us about 5 hours. That doesn't seem like much, but we weren't planning on much. This project is far from done, but I will explain the work we've done.
I (CJ) built the bass line and drum patterns that you here. The lower-pitched "ding" patterns were added by Kibbles (by the way, Kibbles is a dude xD). The slower, higher-pitched "ding" patterns were originally built by me, but Kibbles came up with the alterations that you hear throughout them. From there, we used those four areas to build the basic song.
From there, I added a neat hi-hat/rim click pattern to the verse. Then we set to work on the interlude to outro basically on an excitement high. I added in the background sound that took over the bass's part, and then used it in the final outro along with the bass. Kibbles helped me judge when to transition and what the rhythm sound feel like.
Our final work of art was 5:54 >_<
Next, I cut down some sections (1:34 worth of awesomeness -_-) and we took out final listen.
That's exactly what you guys get to listen to. In return we ask you for some favors:
Firstly, keep in mind, we are still learning the program we are using, so be honest but gentle. We know there's a lot we can do and add, we just don't know how.
That leads me to this: leave honest feedback. We love it, and it's potential, but we want to know what you think.
Secondly, we don't know what genre to place this in. We currently put it in Misc. but we'd rather have an actual genre, so some opinions on that would be nice.
That's about it, our first song is unveiled, and hopefully our work will continue to grow and expand, so we can come back and update this piece and reach it's full potential.
