Good start

This is a good start to something very moving, here a few pointers on improving the technical side so as to support the musical side:

Add stereo-enhancing, reeverb, and delay effects - these will add a richer sound to the track. The piano is a bit dry and obviously computerized because it lacks these elements.

EQ - The track itself is very bright, compress the upper end of the sound spectrum and enhance the lower end. Make the kick louder

Finally, it feels very top heavy as there is no bass. If a bass was playing alongside the kick it would be much, much more powerful.

Oh, and to ensure a more appropriate listening audience, make sure the genre fits the song. For this I would have classified it as either hiphop or miscellaneous.
