an emergency piece made for a good director friend of mine who was having some trouble getting a song for his animation project. After slaving away on it for 2 days straight with little respite I have here a piece that I hope you will all enjoy. It is not in my usual style and was great fun to make.

Our story here is that of a spirit girl being corrupted. Here is the full story laid out.

0:00 - 0:41
our child spirit is resting on the grass, things blooming around her. She gets up and frolics about being a spirit all around. She walks up to a tree and this large fruit falls off it and starts sending off particles

0:41 - 1:29
the fruit opens up and the spreading particles start producing buildings, little people stems from it filling this city. Our spirit stands aside in awe at what's happening.

1:29 - 2:12
the girl is faced with all sorts of smiling faces. They are so inviting, so pleasing. These faces, the beings of ruin and corruption who only wish to bring the same to everything that is not them. They let the spirit in and circle around her, getting closer and closer to her, escape impossible, and she at their mercy.

2:12 - 2:52
the girl is being pushed about, her being being corrupted with every aggressive push. Happily these people bring this upon her shoulders, more and more violently, more and more until...

2:52 - end
our spirit is broken. A shell of what she used to stand for, lost innocence, and strength.

That is our story! Please, enjoy!

"Fucking marvelous!"

date: February 26, 2009

Your music has an amazing ability to conjure up stories in people's heads, and this track isn't an exception. A very epic piece that, to me, reminds me of a novel I'm writing, where a utopia is shattered into oblivion by a demon of their own making...not formed of malice, but of simple ignorance.

I love the way it starts out peaceful, slowly growing darker and becoming more chaotic before ending on a somber note. This track is my new favorite. Keep up the good work.

it goes well with the story, I love how it gradually sped up in tempo. My fav part was the bells (xylophone?) It was very sad and painted a really good picture of a broken young girl.

"Beautiful"

I haven't been on NG in quite awhile, and this was a real nice thing to hear on my first day back. Beautiful melody, well structured. It followed the plot line almost flawlessly. If you don't mind me asking, what software/hardware do you use to create your music?

10/10, great job.
