Thanks to everyone who voted on and reviewed the first draft of this! It's still up if you need comparison.

I learned how to use filters and such and went to work using Reverb and equalizers and such. I know to anyone who knows FL at all that sounds like nothing, but I feel a few minor changes have helped a lot - the snare, as a prime example, sounds far better in my opinion.

Overall changes are as follows:
> "Tiny Blips" (Sytrus - short synth) now has a bit of reverb.
> Snare and bass drum have filters applied in an attempt to make them sound better - snare relies mostly on reverb and both rely on equalizers. If i recall, i but Soundgoodizer on the bass drum as well.
> Made the last few measures less of a drop in energy.
> Messed with assorted volume levels and pans.

I'm still all for feedback on how I could improve this one. I've had a couple people saying they could hear it with lyrics, but I so far can't figure out how that would work at all. Ah, well. Mostly, I wonder if the bass drum is too quiet or loud or needs general tweaking or whatever. It's my largest iffy area atm, followed by if the changes at the end work, or are too much, or... yeah.

Still, I'm happy with the improvements.

I, myself, appreciate you having listed what instruments you've used in your song. It helps me evaluate your music a little more, so thanks. Anyways, I like the tune a lot! Some of the instruments I am not fully satisfied with, but I still understand the feel you may be trying to get here. Or, perhaps you have so many synths and samples to play with that you just HAVE to settle on something. Heheh. I do urge you to try some new sounds, and not just use presets. Still, I do use presets myself sometimes, and just add heavy modification. Or, I open up presets and start modifying them to sound more like how I want them to sound. You should try that too! Don't be afraid to play with sound! It wants to be molded, and wants to be pleasing to its maker and listeners. I advise you just keep on keeping on, and keep up the great work! You did good!

Take care,
Ka'eo

Author's Response:

Yes, the day will come when I'm not afraid of all of Sytrus's little knobbies and weird things. right now i got to the point where I was able to get the choir to build up volume quicker, and felt obscenely proud of myself. o3o One step at a time, I guess. I'm slowly gettin' braver~ And better in the process.

thanks for the feedback. : )
