This tune is the 2nd part (out of 6) of the "Athas Chronicles" music series I wrote some years ago.

00'00: In order to gain the trust from the Silver Council of Winter Nest, the aarakocra psionist Keb-Raa flies on a journey to the North end of the world, in search for the Helm of Trek-Raa, an ancient artefact that would help gathering his bird-people for the coming battle against the armies of Daskinor.

00'28: As he overpasses the peak of the highest mountain on the icepole, the sharp eye of the eagleman notices the entry of a cavern nearby.

00'51: Landing close, Keb-Raa shakes and folds his wings to drop the cumulated snow and somehow warm himself while entering the cold cave.

01'22: After some exploration, the aracockra discovers a room finely carved within the ice. There, even the slightest light is reflected and focused down to an altar with a cavity shaped like a feather.

01'36: Getting close to the altar, Keb-Raa decides to remove one of his silver feathers and place it onto the shaped cavity. From there, light begins glowing brighter until shining through the whole room. Waiting for a while his eyes to adjust, Keb-Raa notices the altar melt and the very artefact he came for lies now at his feet. Slowly, he takes and pulls on the Helm of Trek-Raa upon his head, heading out of the cavern...

01'55: ...to take his flight back to Winter Nest, his homeland where the Silver Council of the Silvaarak is now waiting for his return.
