Nice Job!! Well played indeed!!
You caught me just at a moment where I wnt to get an original NES and both Zelda games for it! Now I want 'em even more! thanks for the extra boost of inspiration!!
NOTE: The song has been re-uploaded, with slight improvements.
PLEASE LISTEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH before reviewing... and this is my first attempt at something with a classical feel, so try to be nice. The song is the title theme from the first "Legend of Zelda" game for NES, but with somewhat of an orchestra atmosphere... this was fairly difficult for me to put together, so I hope you enjoy it :-)

very nice.has a good feel to it.
This is all pretty good
I semi agree with midimachine, in the fact that better sound samples would do good for your music. Also, at 1:56 and around there with the high strings, it sounds like they are doing 7ths, or maybe they are just awkward synths cuz it just sounded wrong. You have everything else down. I didn't hear any wrong chords..
sweet stuff. Zelda rocks my socks
I liked the syncopated piano part. and all the rest of the piano part, but instrument variation would be good with some intense violins and violas and whatnot. 4/5
i did have some violin effects for the program, but they didn't sound right. basically, i worked with what i had. it also comes from my lack of experience with classical work. i chose not to sample violins from an outside source, since i do not believe in sampling... at least not for this kind of work. i wanted to look back at my songs, knowing that i did everything from scratch. but, thanks for the input. glad you enjoyed it.
hrrmmm
you probably could've used less synthesized sounds for the strings and what not.
instead of running all those harmonic parts on piano sounds you should use a variety of instruments with a strong attack like pizzicato strings, harps etc.
you should get into composing original pieces too. it's very satisfying :)
not a bad effort.
As far as the strings go, it's pretty much the way my music program works. I tried to be somewhat flexible, but I'm actually not very knowledgeable with classical music. I worked with what I had (or what I knew, rather), but thanks for the review.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
