Well, "better" is relevant to what program you are using. If you are using a big expensive program like Reason, There's an infinite amount to how much better you could make your music. If you're using a freeware program, there's not much more you can do and I'd say that was pretty decent for a freeware program. Maybe try adding reverb, EQ, maybe some distortion, a nice pad in the background, better sounds, interesting melodies, and a nice mastering job to top it all off and you've got yourself a masterpiece.
