I guess there's a lot more I wished to do with this, but it's time to let it go and move on. Besides, it's about time I submitted something new. :D
I'm not totally happy with the guitar, or the ending. Or the intro. Or really, the whole damned thing. But as a whole, I still enjoy it, and I sure as hell had fun working on it. Though, I think it could be a little heavier, and meatier.. Oh well. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it.
Either way, give it a listen. I'm sure you'll enjoy it in some way at the very least. More submissions will be coming more regularly from now on, I promise. Leave a comment, and let me know what you think!

Yeah, and better mastering. I tried to get some loud bass drums in there but it threw the whole mix off. Too much clutter in the low end. T-T

you're right, the lead guitar could've sounded better. I think you should've made the drums harder any way. Barely hear 'em.

Definitely. I actually tried to go back and fix those issues before submitting it, but it proved to be more hassle than it was worth. Anything I did messed up the song as a whole. So I just left it as is and decided I'd do better next time anyway, and that would be that. Glad to hear you liked it, though, and thanks for the review and critique. :D

i think of a big gunfight going on by listening to this then a chase happening because he/she didnt die. very good.

Personally, any number of different scenes come to mind for me. But they all have to do with defiance, and fighting back. Hence the name, Taking Over. Glad you enjoyed it, MattnGreg. Thanks for the review, man!
