Bass- That's what it's missing

A great ambiant-house song. I like the melody a lot, even though it was slightly repetetive, the kick was a good backup, and it was nice to listen to.

But I do know the 'something' it's missing- A bassline throughout the song. That would cut out the repetitiveness, and make the song VERY enjoyable. That's all I have to say- go for it.

Your right, it is a bit bland. Just wait and jam with it and inspiration will come! I really like how the primary progression doesn't go where you think it's gonna go. Try a more complex/interesting beat too.
