Sytrus Goa Trance - All Sytrus (8 PrEmoEffect Presets, All from Scratch and 2 from other PremoEffect Presets).
Wow that was just the most random song I have ever made, but worked very hard on it (spent most of the time inside with this massive heat wave, it was as high as 107!!!). Its trance with a heavy Goa influence. Listen with headphones because I did alot with panning and cross panning. I'll get mad if you don't =P

It's a nice attempt at a Psy/Goa song. Although I'm on my laptop so I can't really critique the production aswell as the song...
First off, congrats for being one of the only people I have heard on here who acctually bothers to program sytrus rather than using the crappy presets! You've gotten some really cool sounds out of it.
It does get a little repetative though. Try just adding some extra sections in or some sampled (and seriouse sounding) vocals, you can find loads of random video on youtube then sample them using Audacity. Some extra sound effects would help too rather than just the same reverse breath noise happening every off chance.
If you REALLY wanna get trippy with goa/psy music then get your hands on a free VST effect plugin called Glitch by dblue. Excellent effect!

Enough to download (when I get back home onto my PC that is). Not the best I've heard but it's still pretty decent, worthy of a 10 when compared to alot of the stuff on here =D

The song and everything is good. I love psychedelic music. But Goa trance is almost extinct cause it's so old. It was renamed to Psy-trance several years ago. So you should learn a few things. Well those who really liked Goa trance on the bright days, they still call it Goa, but I prefer Psy.
Psy trance is already becoming very popular and spreading out of it's home country - Israel. Psychedelic trance songs have this interesting rhythm and sometimes may create effective illusions of a world with the help of beats and synths. My favorite Psy-Trance artists are Skazi and Infected Mushroom!

Cuz you just got another download. Explain to me, what is Goa trance? Because you seem mighty damn good at it! The synths and bass fit together, which you can't find in many songs. Has a nice evil flow to it, doesn't get choppy at all, which is another quality for good songs. You did real good :)

Goa is basically the stuff you listen to when ur high (I dont =P) and its very psychidellic, its supposed to get you in fast paced dance. And I combined that with Trance, so I got rid of the punchy kick and put a clubby kick. For this one, I put a Trancish Bass with a Goa feel, but its not ur psycho bass like I put in the other song. And add some Goa Synths mixed with Trance Danciness and thats GOA! Nice to hear from u again ^.^
