The main melody in the beginning is a cello, but I do use violin as well. I wish I could make it sound more realistic though :( I am pleased you enjoyed it though!

I'd hate to be the snare player
His arms are gonna get extremey tired. The thing about a symphony, no matter how short, is a variety of moods. The whole thing seemed like the allergro section before a great finale. It's good don't get me wrong, but it seemed to me a little one sided. The key of a minor (although fairly aggressive) is also a beautiful key, try to accent some beauty into your pieces too instead of only going for the epic drive.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. I need to go back and clean up this song. The snare sounds very repetitive and a little overused. As far as your words of wisdom on symphonies, you are totally right. I really enjoyed your review, and I now have motivation to fix this song, or at least when I make a new one, to totally make it awesome.

Purposeful, Epic
This is an excellent piece. I'm glad there are smart people on Newgrounds that can appreciate Neo-Classicism like this. I smiled at a comment you made on another review, about how the expression of an instrument can't be beat by digital music, as it is exactly how I feel about musical instruments. I just love how you're composing strong, complete suites like this. I hope you do another one soon!

Ah thanks! Yeah this piece was a lot of work. It was very interesting creating seperate charts for each instrument. It may not be as big as a real orchestra, but I felt like I was really writing one when I was making this. And yes, human expression can never be beat by computer generated effects. I wish I had real instruments like these, but I'm not that rich! :P I will do another in the future!

WOW! REALLY?! That makes me very happy that you enjoy the song so much. Listen, I don't have sheet music, however, I can try and write it for you. It would take quite a while though. I'm not as good in music theory as I'd like to be, so it would just take some time. May I ask why you want a chart?

The drumming in the background is really nice (is that you?) This track is really not too bad. Sounds like backing music to some RPG. Would go well for some fantasy based flash. Should make some more classical stuff! : D
I dont have too much bad to say. The violin / cello sound i wish was real : (
thats about it. Also, I'd almost say turn up all of the drums, the snares, the crashes, etc. / make the crashes more epic!?

Ah no, the drumming is not me, I could play it, if only I had some mics :( But yeah, this was my first ever classical song, and it turned out pretty good. My friend actually helped me make some of the violin parts, and they sound absolutely great I might add. Yeah, I wish they were real too, nothing can substitute true human expression and emotion on an instrument, although the Cello sounds quite good. Thank you for the review good sir :)
