"Perhaps more daft than enraged..."

The ending has a good deal of sorrow in it. As if something of ill fate had befallen on someone. When the music picks up, the pirate beat can be heard quite well. It reclines back to the softer beat. Without the piano, it sounds slightly more looming than sorrowful, but the distinction isn't much.

In total (yes, I always write two halves to a review.) it's alright. The beat is there, the tone is there, the flow is there, but... the emotion seems lacking. The difference between the two slower parts around the bridge isn't much at all. My suggestion would be to find ways to portray a bit more passion into the song, through the instruments you have, or something new. It would help you quite a bit in the future to find ways to bolden your songs.
