Well here it is! I hope i didn't do a rush job, because it doesen't last very long, even though i think everything is in order.

I think the final result was better because of the intro and the extension at the end. The ending is slightly quick, but it holds the soft feeling of the piano.

I hope you'll enjoy it!

PS: (Classical) = I'm going to make a techno version too, since i also made this to show some of my friends that i'm not stuck with techno and trance. =)

Strings! STRINGS!

This song is crying out for some deep, thick background strings to accompany the piano. Also, doing octaves in the left hand for extended periods of time is not recommended. Instead, try to put in some interesting patterns and arpeggios. Additional instruments would also help widen and round out the song. Either way, a nice melody, I just feel that it wasn't fully explored.

DavidKrachtLam responds:

Yeah well, it was totally remade from me playing it on piano, so I felt that I shouldn't have added more since well, this what was I could play.

It's finally out

I remember the hard times you've had and how you struggled to make this song track when all seemed lost.
I'm glad you pulled through and finished this beautiful piece.

You undeniably have a musical talent and I hope you pursue a career in this.

lol, When you're all famous, don't forget about me, k? :P

Overall

The wait is finally over.

DavidKrachtLam responds:

I'll never do that of course! =)

If you really like these classical pieces (I assume you do), don't worry there will be more.

Epic piano

Awesome addition to the DKL family! =D This is so cool, I love fast piano riffs.

DavidKrachtLam responds:

Thank you! Even though I'll have to release some techno soon, I'm still planning on making a famous song on Piano. Title remains a secret right now..... =)

Kind of cool

Kind of captured a feeling, though I was waiting for something more, or perhaps just a change in any aspect of the piece. Perhaps just changing the register, and playing the same notes an octave lower or higher would do the trick. Or even a whole other layer to the piece, like a woodwind melody. There are infinite possibilities in music, and I think you'd find greater enjoyment in writing your music if you tried more stuff. Perhaps something you'd never think of doing, just to see what happens. Also, the repetitive bass octaves could be mixed down a bit. They rather muddy the track.

Very good material, though. Keep writing. :-)

DavidKrachtLam responds:

Thanks for the descriptive review! I could probably have made it a bit longer with new melodies and such, but i think it's still good as it is.

Wow!

This, for me persoanlly, was simply outstanding

It got me in a really light refreshing mood but had kinda hidden sad feelings to it (in my opinion)

Hats off to you mate, that was great

5/5

DavidKrachtLam responds:

Really? I've done my best to only create "happy" notes. =)
Maybe it's the delayed piano that starts at 00:45, i guess they could be kind of sad...
