not really blues at all, but the genre list is shite. folky accoustic whatever. its written in DADGAD and uses 'hybrid picking', where a plectrum is used at the same time as the fingers. for those who care it also alternates between the dorian mode and the major scale.

i like it

though i does get a little repetitive. from the start to the middle i suggest putting some harmonica in that part. but then it wouldnt really makes sense with the electric guitar in the second.. im not sure but you can never go wrong with adding harmonicas!

Nice

I'm a pretty shit guitarist, so I can't comment on the more technical aspects of this, but I enjoyed this piece. I have to say I liked the first half a lot better, it had a cool western/desert kind of feel while the second half was a bit more typical rock. Your playing is great though, professional sounding but with a lot of feeling. -4
