After Creating Document13a I realized that i couldn't let go of my more intense roots. So this is the continuation/reinterpreta tion of Documents.
It's got a much harder sound to it than 13a . Hopefully you enjoy it. I really enjoy producing them.

"A Drummer in a Room Perhaps"

date: November 15, 2008

Same music-box feel, but different tune. Still a little creepy? Forgotten? Yes. Drums kick in. Or not "kick in", because they are quiet. As if someone was playing a simple beat they just learned in a recording studio, but forgot to turn the volume up. Obviously, in your case, this is intentional however. Suddenly the drummer realizes "Oops, better fix that", turns some dials, and wham, has a louder and more satisfying sound for a while. Suddenly he feels like there isn't enough here. Starts getting a little crazy. Takes some risks. He likes the sound. Starts incorporating the familiar Amen Break. Maybe he realized he was going a little crazy and slowed it down and let the music-box do its thing before he starts again. At 1:56 he's had enough and starts letting his emotions show through crazy drums beats. That's when the song comes out for me. Fantastic job, better than 13a.
