This is one of my favorite songs that we play. Like before, I'm not entirely happy with the mastering, and our upcoming EP should sound much better, because we're going to focus on perfection this time around.

So here's 4AM. The full title is "It's 4 AM (Do You Know Where Your Children Are?)." Not as bad as it sounds. It's just about having fun and staying up late. We all do it.

So please enjoy, and reviews are welcome and encouraged!

Edit: If you want to vote zero, I'd appreciate a review letting me know why. We get plenty of good reviews, and that's great, but we want to improve, so don't be afraid to get ugly!

Pretty Good

I liked it but sometimes the guitar and trumpet turned into a jumble.

HyruleanHyroe responds:

I'm glad you liked it! As for trumpet and guitar, yeah, I know. Horns were all done in one day, for like 13 songs, at the studio guy's instruction. I don't know how familiar you are with playing a horn, but that's very exhausting and a HORRIBLE idea. Just one of the many reasons we were dissatisfied with our first CD. We have since improved and put a lot more time and effort into our next CD, though I think we can still do better. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, eh?

Pretty good

For some reason this puts me in a good mood.

HyruleanHyroe responds:

I take back what I said before. Laughter is only the second best response we could get. This is number one. Thank you.

forget it

Forget what all the other ignorant assholes said, this sound is supposed to be funny, a joke among friend (right?). Vocals are good, musics good, and sincerely, i envy you...so ignore them and keep on bringing these hits! the only thing I didnt like was the "Do you know where your children are" part at the beggining, the way he said it, but thats such a small detail, i wont discount it from the score (you guys owe me one) so 10/10 to yous!

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Haha, I thought that part at the beginning was a bit goofy, too. Ah well!

It sounds like you actually get the feel of our music, so thank you so much for bringing a bit of brightness to this otherwise dark, angry-review-filled time. :)

The music wasn't so bad but the vocals.....

The vocals were pure crap. I know it's been said but it deserves to be reiterated. The vocals were just awful. The music was maybe an 8 but the vocals brought it down quite a bit. I am giving this review from a slightly sympathetic standpoint because you almost certainly put effort into this to a certain degree. I would have docked even more points but I just felt bad. The vocals were just crap. Plain and simple, don't sing or try to. Work on the music itself, the instruments, the beat, the tempo, the flow, all of that, before you try to get vocals. Vocals usually take a while for ap artists to get right, don't give up but don't think that you are better than you are. Yes, I read your response to Yamalazoo.

HyruleanHyroe responds:

I don't like your attitude, sir. Keep your 'sympathy,' we're not interested.
