Days of the New is one of my favorite bands of all time. The second album (The green one) has this nice Celtic/Bluesy/Trance/ Prog Rock thing about it. And this is my interpretation of track # 9 titled Longfellow. What caught me was the trance like rythm and almost funny bassoon at the beginning.

My version I decided to amp up the tribal factor. But my view is, Tribal Trance, Not Techno Trance! I Toned down the jovialness, replaced instruments with cool sound effects. (I like using metronome clicks instead of a hi-hat) The only original part I wrote is the flute played half-way through. None of this is looped from anything, it's all me!

Sorry, I'm colorblind when it comes to genre's. I think it's unfair to label songs, it gives people the wrong message sometimes. Sorry I mislabeled this song. I went ahead and switched it to Miscellaneous. It puts ME into a trance, but it's not necessarily Trance music.
